Its boundaries are roughly Ravenswood Avenue on the east, Belmont Avenue on the south, the north branch of the Chicago River on the west, and Addison Street on the north. Commuters coming into the city can either drive on I-94, the Kennedy Expressway, or take the CTA Brown Line from the Addison or Paulina stops. There are also many buses that travel to the city center.

Roscoe Village has dozens of local eateries offering a variety of fares, including Mediterranean, South American, Thai and Italian cuisines, and many more. From traditional comfort food to Turkish food, bakeries, and Cuban food, there are plenty of options to choose from. There are also many wine depots nearby. If you are in the mood to shop, there are many charming boutiques with an array of goods along Roscoe Street from Damen to Western Avenue. Boutiques range from cutting edge clothing to beautiful baby wear to designer furniture, and accessories for the home. Each independently owned business is filled with personality.

Roscoe Village offers eclectic artwork and is also home to some of the most exciting concert venues in Chicago. Schubas Tavern, housed in an old Schlitz brewery is a bar that showcases a diverse lineup of bands, from Indie to Jazz. If you like performing arts theatres, Constellation showcases Jazz, classical music, and dance events in an open performance space with a full bar. Martyrs’ is a cool bar spot with live music and eclectic performers.
